Description

The well-known Lithuanian artist Vladas Mackevicius is famous for his provocative style in painting and small sculptural forms. His work is widely recognized far beyond Lithuania.

We present an artist-made copy of the painting titled "Lemons of the Old Ladies".
The title plays with words - it can be read both as "millions of money" and as "old ladies’ lemons."

In this version, unlike the original work that measured one by one meter, Vladas created a copy of his own painting in the size of 80 x 80 cm. Also, unlike the original piece sold in the 2010s, this copy features, at the client’s request, symbols of various fiat and crypto currencies applied directly onto the surface of the lemons.
